FlightSim Studio AG, a developer known for their Embraer 175 that was released in Early Access earlier this year, has just released their Tecnam P2006T MKII for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This advanced GA aircraft promises to offer a complete and realistic flying experience with a comprehensive system simulation and fantastic flight dynamics.
The Tecnam P2006T MKII is a twin-engine, four-seat light aircraft designed and manufactured by the Italian company Tecnam. It is an improved version of the original P2006T, featuring enhanced aerodynamics, avionics, and comfort. The FlightSim Studio AG Tecnam P2006T MKII is an accurate replica based on a real-world reference aircraft, and it should be an accurate representation of the aircraft in MSFS.
The Tecnam P2006T MKII is powered by two Rotax 912S3 engines, each with a maximum power output of 100 horsepower. With a maximum cruise speed of 155 knots (287 km/h) and a range of up to 660 nautical miles (1,222 km), the P2006T MKII is a versatile and efficient aircraft suitable for a wide range of missions, from training and touring to surveillance and medical evacuation.
The FSS Tecnam P2006T MKII comes complete with numerous animations, including aircraft doors, all cockpit switches, buttons, and knobs, walkaround items, and dynamic load (pax/cargo) depending on aircraft weight. The aircraft also features detailed checklists for added realism. High-quality modeling and PBR textures make for an accurate and detailed rendition of the plane, with several real-world liveries included for added variety. Additionally, there are cargo and observer versions available, as well as dynamic load, allowing you to experience the aircraft in different configurations.
In terms of features, the FSS Tecnam P2006T MKII integrates native MSFS features such as icing visualization and rain effects, providing an even more immersive flying experience. The aircraft also comes fitted with Working Title’s brilliant implementation of the G1000NXi, a custom STEC-55X autopilot, and a custom tablet, which comes with aircraft options, a Ground Power Unit, a moving map with flightplan support, weight and balance settings, an impressive walkaround mode for pre-flight checks, and panel state saving.
The Tecnam P2006T MKII also includes two operation modes: realistic and easy. The realistic mode includes all circuit breakers integrated for failure simulation, an emergency gear deployment system, a realistic walkaround that is required to operate the aircraft, custom engine start behavior that requires the Rotax to be handled correctly, and persistent saving of aircraft state, including background system logic. The easy mode includes the simplified MSFS engine and startup model, with no functional circuit breakers.
The FlightSim Studio AG Tecnam P2006T MKII for Microsoft Flight Simulator is priced at €29,37 in Aerosoft’s online store. With its impressive list of features, detailed modeling and textures, and comprehensive system simulation, this aircraft promises to provide a complete and realistic flying experience for fans of Microsoft Flight Simulator.
