First and foremost, SimWorks Studios has confirmed on social media that they will indeed be releasing the Kodiak 900, which was initially revealed last year. This will be the first of four Daher aircraft that the team will be working on in the future. The 3D model for the Kodiak 900 will be completed as soon as the cabin remodeling of the Kodiak 100 is done, and the release date will depend on how quickly they can verify the aircraft’s handling.

SimWorks Studios has also launched a survey to get feedback from customers on their current and upcoming products, website, and overall presence. This is an excellent opportunity for customers to provide their input on what they like and don’t like about the company and its products.

Moving on to the Kodiak PC-12, the team has made significant progress in recent weeks, with only a few minor exterior fixes left to complete. An early build of the aircraft in-game is expected to be presented within the next couple of weeks, and the PC-12/47 and NG are currently being fitted with various systems. The electrical system and all circuit breakers have been added in, and de-icing and basic pressurization are in place. The plane will be fully functional by the end of the month, using a mix of custom systems from their framework and default systems for the remaining switches.

Additionally, the team has made improvements to the ITT simulation, which now scales correctly with altitude and fuel flow. They have also found a way to fix MSFS’ incorrect NG readouts and will be working on fixing them next week. The 4-bladed propeller is now dialed in, and the plane flies within 1-3kts of what the manual reports in most cases. In March, the team plans to fine-tune the flight model and program new systems such as the stick pusher, rudder-aileron interconnect, and integrate the autopilot & GPS panels. The flight model will continue to be worked on until the team is satisfied with it.

Once the aircraft is complete, it will be sent to Pilatus for approval before its final release. The team is optimistic that the final product will be of the highest quality and meet the expectations of their customers.

Kodiak 900

In conclusion, SimWorks Studios has made significant progress on both the Kodiak PC-12 and Kodiak 900, and they are seeking customer feedback through a survey. Their dedication to creating a high-quality product is evident in the attention to detail and continuous work on improving the flight model and various systems. Customers can expect an excellent final product once it is released.
