It’s well known for being a major hub for Delta Airlines and ranks highly for its on-time departures and arrivals compared to other major U.S. airports. The airport has undergone significant development in recent years, with a $4 billion redevelopment program titled “The New SLC” implemented in 2014. The first phase of the project was completed in 2020, and the entire project is expected to be finished by 2024.
