Malaysian Flight Simulator Group (MFSG) has done it again with their latest release for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Kochi Ryoma Airport (RJOK) is a regional airport serving the city of Nankoku in Kochi Prefecture, Japan. It may not be a massive airport, but it has its charm with stunning natural surroundings, views of the nearby mountains and the Pacific Ocean, and a single terminal building featuring various shops and restaurants and an observation deck on the third floor.
Built on 120 hectares of land, the airport averages 1.6 million passengers a year (pre-pandemic), making it the 21st busiest airport in Japan. The airport’s history dates back to 1944, when it was built for the Royal Japanese Navy. After World War II, the US forces took charge of the airfield for eight years, and it was then converted into a civilian airport, with operations starting two years later.
MFSG’s scenery for Kochi Ryoma Airport is a highly-detailed rendition of the airport as it currently stands, with custom photorealistic terrain, custom jetways, realistic ground markings, and night lighting. It’s available for purchase on SimMarket for EUR 13 and requires at least 106 MB of free disk space to install.
As an added bonus, if you previously purchased MFSG – KOCHI RYOMA RJOK FS2004 FSX P3D3-5 at SimMarket, you are entitled to a special upgrade price of EUR 9.00 only. Please note that the special upgrade price will be awarded automatically, and you must be logged into your same account used to purchase the previous version.
